About Us

What you see is who you get - Eva and Paul Sylvestre. Add up the time these knowledgeable guides have lived in Banff National Park and you'll clock 63 years. In fact, what gives this boutique company "Nature in Focus" its edge, is the local knowledge these two multi-lingual guides provide visitors from around the planet. Combine a consistent level of excellence with a customized experience and you'll discover Canada's Rocky Mountains from the inside out. Whether it's a one-of-a-kind hike, a photo safari, a snowshoe romp or an interpretive trek through a high alpine carpet of wildflowers - you'll love the fact there is always time to smell those flowers when you're with Eva and Paul. After all, it's about zooming in and placing Nature in Focus!

“In the end we will conserve only what we love. We love only what we understand.
We understand only what we are taught.”
– Baba Doppi
